Thank you. The same issue exists in RoboHelp, so I don't know if it is fixable. There is a workaround at least, albeit a time consuming one.

Tabs printing as single space
We're using the codeblock macro and the content inside include tabs It seems to be ok in HTML preview, but when the PDF is generated, the tab is replaced by a single space. Is there a fix for this...

{note:icon=false} not recognised
When I export to PDF, the icon symbol appears in the document. The code in the page is {note:icon=false}, so it shouldn't appear. Using Confluence 3.5.13.
