Automatical Template Backup
Dear k15 team,
Currently, we had to re-install Confluence at a new location after database migration (method 2 - https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/migrating-to-another-database-148867.html). We restored Confluence from an XML backup and copied the attachments across. Unfortunately, we noticed that the Scroll PDF Templates we created have not been restored to our new installation. Therefore, we would like to suggest making sure that the templates are included in the regular Confluence backups.
Regards,
Paul Schmidt

Hi Paul, in order to have your previous templates included in your exported Confluence instance you would need to copy the specific scroll-exporter-data directory – this includes the relevant template data for export templates created with Scroll PDF Exporter v4 (and later).
You can navigate to the folder via your: Confluence Home folder > shared-home folder > scroll-exporter-data
I hope this helps. I you experience any issues please reach out to us via help@k15t.com.
Cheers, Thomas (K15t)
