Published space permissions
Hi there,
I'm publishing a space based on another template space using REST api
/rest/scroll-versions/1.0/publish/spaceKey/to_new/publish
where spaceKey - is the key of the template Space
In the publishing process, you have access to a number of options that impact the publishing result. Unfortunately, I did't find an option that would ignore template space permissions, so I end up having them on confluence page: /confluence/spaces/spacepermissions.action?key=createdSpaceKey
I'm just wondering if there is a way not to copy template space permissions
Thanks,
Yevhen

Hi Yevhen,
Your observations are correct. Publishing to a new space with Scroll Versions carries over the space permissions from the source space. However, there are no existing options to block this. If you want other permissions in the published space, then you would need to change those manually after publishing.
I hope this information was of help.
