Resync a ticket with another ticket if the old one has been deleted
Hi folks,
while testing backbone sync I dropped into the issue that I had to delete some tickets on one side. Just now I have the problem that I am not able to remove the backbone sync information on the resisting tickets on the other Jira side.
Is there a possibility to get these error messages away from tickets which are no longer in sync and may be resync them again to create new ones on the receiver side?

Hi Peter,
Thank you for your question.
Let’s say you have project A and project B. When you delete an issue that is synced on project B, Backbone will not immediately throw an error. However, if you update something on the issue in project A, or perform a resync, an error (issue does not exist) will be thrown in the troubleshooting.
From this error in the troubleshooting you can choose to either not sync the ticket anymore or as you mention, create new ones on the receiver side (project B). You can also learn more about that here.
I hope that answers your question but please let me know if something is still unclear.
Cheers,
