Scroll Documents version numbers in Scroll PDF exports?

Hello everyone,

Our organization adopted both Scroll Documents and Scroll PDF Exporter. Unfortunately, there are no macros available in Scroll PDF Exporter that allow us to feature the version designations defined in SD in ours exports. A placeholder ($scrollVersions.Version.Id) is available for Scroll Versions, but none for SD.

I'm looking for a workaround that would allow me to render the document versions defined in SD in the PDF exports.

  Hi Richard Tix,

  Thanks for the post. Currently, we don't offer any placeholders that can be included in the export template that refer to Scroll Document related metadata. We have an open feature request for introducing these placeholders which you can track here - https://k15t.jira.com/browse/DOCS-77. This will be something that is hopefully available next quarter.

  In the meantime, had you considered using the Page Property macro/placeholder approach to include the Scroll Document Version in your export?   Hello Thomas,

  Yes, we're using the Page Properties approach to include this information manually. However the automation offered by a dedicated placeholder would be a welcome feature. Thanks for the ticket number, looking forward to this upgrade in Q4.
