Insert Parent Page title

We have the following typical strucutre:

Space

  Parent Section

    Child section 1

    Child section 2

 

We will be exporting from Child section 1 for example, however I am trying to include the 'Parent Section' title in the export.  We have tried using page properties, both on the parent page and the page we export from with no luck.  It would be ideal if parent page properties(like when you view the confluence pages Advanced details->page information) would be available as default placeholders.

  Figured out the page properties, we needed to add 'header column' to the page property as listed here Page Properties Macro | Confluence Data Center and Server 7.11 | Atlassian Documentation.

  Question still stands though if default placeholders can provide parent info.

  Hi JGP, yes in this case, using the Page Properties macro and accompanying placeholder in the export template would be the best approach seeing that the Parent page is not being included. This will then allow you to create custom placeholder content that references the particular Parent page title.
