Is your plugin supports issue type Sync when we rename issue type from Story to Bug?

 

Use case is  we have story which is already synched and we changed it issue type to Bug ?

What is the Behavior?

Requirement is : - 

we want to synchronize type changes (e.g. change from bug to story or from story to Epic). At the moment if we change a bug into a story the bug will stay a bug in the opposite Jira. Maybe this is not configered in the issue types section but in the fields mapping or something else.

  Hi Narayana,

  Thank you for your question! 

  By default, Backbone doesn't synchronize an issue type change. If you want to synchronize this, you can do so by the setting advanced.issueTypeChangeAllowed in the advanced settings tab (https://help.k15t.com/backbone-issue-sync/latest/server/advanced-settings-182786696.html)

  If you activate that setting, make sure that the issue types share the same fields and workflows. If they don't Backbone could throw an error while syncing the change of issue type.
