Make theme global not possible
Hello
I created a viewport theme in my root space that I am planning on using in multiple spaces. However, I can not make the theme "global" so that it would appear as a theme option in other spaces. The option "Make global" is greyed and I don't know why.
I have all admin rights for the space I am working in. Can someone advise on how I can make the theme global?
Thanks a lot in advance
Gabriel

Hi Gabriel,
the option is normally greyed out if the theme is already global. Have you tried to select the theme from another space? In case you have done that - can you go to
Global Configuration > Scroll Viewport Themes
You should see a list of all themes in your instance and the scope of those themes. If the status says global your theme should be global, if it doesn't feel free to reach out to us in support via help@k15t.com.
Thanks and have a nice day.
Cheers,

Hi both,
Thanks for the replies. Indeed, general confluence admin rights are needed to make a theme "global".
As I am only space admin, I was not able to do it. It is worth noting, that after I asked the Confluence admin to make the theme global for me, I now am not able to edit the theme anymore. So make sure you are happy with the theme before you ask your Confluence admin to make it global :)
Thanks
Gabriel
