Uninstalling Scroll Versions
Hello,
We recently encountered the "Page X will be restricted for Edit if Scroll Versions groups are removed in the target space and cannot be overwritten by the current user" message while trying to publish a version onto its own Space. This occurred even though the system administrator was the one doing the publishing. It's likely that the restrictions in place exist for accounts that do not exist on our current system (Due to the space being imported from a different server).
Is there a better way to fully strip (or bypass) these restrictions as a system admin?

Hi Robert,
thanks for reaching out.
Can you please clarify whether you are publishing to a new space or an existing space? Also, are you publishing within the same Confluence or to a remote Confluence? If you are publishing to a new or existing space, this message would appear because the current user is not authorised to edit the page.
Can you please check whether the user had enough Confluence permissions in the source and target space to update the page?
Cheers,
Johanna (K15t)
