Change history comment and translation-descriptor
Hello,
may I ask two questions concerning the import of the Translation Zips:
1. Generally, Scroll Translations writes the sentence "Content imported from a Scroll Translations translation file" into the change history by default when importing ZIP-files. Is it possible to customize this sentence during an import - especially if you import via REST API? This would allow us to use different phrases depending on the type of import.
2. If you forgot to set the 'language'-value of the translation-descriptor.xml to the translated language (<> original language), the ZIP will still be imported without warning. Is it then simply possible to repeat the import after a correction without losing anything of this or previous translations?
Thank you,
Volker

Hi Volker, thanks for reaching out.I have answered your questions in order below:
- Unfortunately, this message is hard-coded in the product, and we do currently not offer any custom comment message for page versions.
- Changing the language value in the import zip is optional. It should not make any difference, except for a warning which might be displayed in the import dialog, but this can be ignored. Therefore, importing the zip again with this change is not necessary. We have created a Jira issue to remove this warning, you can find it here via this link: https://k15t.jira.com/browse/VSN-4419
Does this answer your questions?Cheers,Johanna (K15t) - Unfortunately, this message is hard-coded in the product, and we do currently not offer any custom comment message for page versions.
