Export confluence page's w/ parentheses in attachments name
Hello,
I'm facing a problem with the Scroll HTML exporter. When I want to export a page with attachments, if one of the attachment has a parenthese in it, for exemple "my_document(1).pdf", the document is not exported well. The size of the file is fixed to 990 bytes, and it's not working when I want to open it.
I precise that my settings when I export are set, especially the option :
And :
Here's the only log I found interesting :
2020-09-01 15:59:01,581 DEBUG [scroll-html-export:thread-1] [services.io.impl.ConfluenceResourceLoader] getResource Url 'https://my_secret_url.net/confluence/download/attachments/76382819/Test%20document%20avec%20des%20%28parenth%C3%A8ses%29.pdf?version=1&modificationDate=1598618740982&api=v2' seems to be an image without effects, trying in-process loaders first.
Would it be possible to get your feedback on this problem and if it is possible to fix it?
Thanks a lot !

Hi Paul, thanks for reaching out to us. Were you using the latest version of Scroll HTML Exporter?
With the latest version of the app, I have tried to reproduce the same behaviour but couldn't reproduce the same behaviour you reported. When the export file naming option was set to Replace with Ascii and I had Embed referenced attachments enabled within the export scheme, the export of the files with parentheses in the attachment name occurred as expected.
To further investigate this behaviour could you send to help@k15t.com;
- a support ZIP
- an XML export for the Confluence pages you've exported where this is reproducible
- a copy of your customized export template (if you are using one)
We can then continue to investigate this within a support case.
Thanks, Thomas

Hello Thomas, thanks for your answer. I am running the the 3.9.11 version on confluence server 6.15.2. I was in 3.9.10 yesterday, I haven't seen the update of August 28th, but it doesn't seem to change anything.
But can the documents be opened on your side, the size is not fixed to 990 bytes ?
I will write an email with the support ZIP ! Thanks for your support.
Paul
