Viewtracker code for customized Viewport

Hi! We have customized the WebHelp template for our Viewport. We have Viewtracker installed and configured on our server, but it's not capturing anonymous views of our spaces.

I saw this article and tried adding the code to the include-htmlhead.vm, but it didn't work.

Any other ideas on how we can get Viewtracker to capture anonymous views with a customized Viewport?

Thanks in advance for any guidance. We are running Viewport 2.16, Confluence 6.6.8.

  Hi Sara

  We asked our development to look into it. And we will supply a fix to the FAQ. 

  Can you tell us what Viewtracker Version started showing this issue?

  Viewtracker 5.8.0 is the currently installed version.

  We couldn't reproduce your issue. Could you send us some more information as a support request through this link:

  • Do you see any console log errors in your browser console when accessing a page anonymous?
  • Does the tracking work for logged in users, visiting the viewport?
  • Could you select the default Help Center theme and check if it's working there?
