Default Variant disappears in Scroll Viewport Drop Down

I have a default “All” variant in Scroll Versions, but it disappears from the drop down after any other value is selected. How do I fix this?

  Hi Paul.

  I assume you are referring to the lack of All variant in the Public View?

  Public View doesn't have an option to see "All pages" because it is only available for Authors in the Author view. To get to display all pages in public view you do not have to (manually) assign a variant "All Pages" to each page. Rather, according to the documentation page Manage Variants, you may define the variant "All Pages" in such a way, that all values including the "unset" value of all attributes are activated. This makes also pages with no attribute set to members of the variant "All Pages". Furthermore, you can make this variant the default variant. In this case, in public view all pages are displayed per default.
