Bug - Excerpt / Include+ macro contents are not exported via Scroll Word Exporter
Software versions:
- Atlassian Confluence 6.15.7
- Scroll Word Exporter 4.1.15
How to see the bug:
- Create page A
- Create page B
- Include content in A
- Include content in B using Include+ macro
- Export B using Scroll Word Exporter
You will get the following message in the exporter DOCX: "Unable to render include or excerpt-include. Could not retrieve page."
It does not matter
- if you are using the Include+ macro or the excerpt macro (where you have to select the content on page A).
- if page A and page B are in the same space or not.

Hi Ulli,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
So far I've been unable to reproduce the same behaviour you have reported. From my export attempts the included content (provided via either the Include+ or Excerpt Include) is rendered in the generated Word export.
To further investigate, can you send us an XML export for the affected pages where you can reproduce this issue? To export the content of Confluence pages, please follow these instructions: https://help.k15t.com/creating-a-xml-export-of-a-single-page-111903666.html.
Please can you you then send us the information to support@k15t.com. Following this, a support case will be automatically generated and we can further investigate the issue.
Cheers, Thomas (K15t)

I've partly solved the problem:
- Page A and Page B in the same space using the right Scroll version site attributes - it does work now
BUT:
- Page A and Page B in different spaces with different site attributes - it does not work (of course)
- Adapting the site attributes so that they are the same in both spaces - it still does not work
- Page A and Page B in the same space using the right Scroll version site attributes - it does work now

Hi Marco, Hi Ulli,
Thanks for your posts. To look into the issues you've both faced when trying to include your content, can you send you us your relevant content (via XML export) where this issue is reproducible to support@k15t.com.
To export the content of Confluence pages, please follow these instructions: https://help.k15t.com/creating-a-xml-export-of-a-single-page-111903666.html.
With this information, alongside the descriptions of the steps you've taken, we can then try to ascertain why you're experiencing this issue.
Cheers, Thomas (K15t)
