    Hi Sean,

Thanks for your post. Unfortunately, we do not offer an option to select the export file type for Scroll Word Exporter - we use the default .docx Microsoft Word format.

Was there a specific reason that you wanted to export content into the older .doc file format?

    Thanks, Thomas (K15t)

Thank you for the comment Thomas. The .docx Microsoft Word format is good for us too. The point is we need to export the older versions of the documents. They are needed because they are the history records for external usage such as customers. Is there a way to do that? Thank you for answering.

    Hi Sean,

Thanks for the reply. How were you versioning your content in Confluence - for instance were you using our app Scroll Versions to control this?

If not, it remains possible to export specific pages from the Page History in Confluence and this would allow you to export the previous version(s) of the page. Is this what you required?

    Thanks, Thomas (K15t)

    Hi Thomas,

Thanks for the feedback!! We are not using k15t's Scroll Versions, nor other add-ons. Instead, we are just using the page history provided by Atlassian Confluence as our version control. Could you show us the method to do so? Thanks a lot!

    Hi Sean,

    Thanks for your reply.

By selecting Page History for a chosen page in Confluence you will be able to view the previous iterations of the page. If you then select an older version, you can use the same export steps that you would for the current version of the page, by selecting the ••• icon and then choosing the export option (see screenshot):

By following these steps, you'll be able to export the content from the page history without having to fully restore the specific page version.

Does this help? Or did you require a different functionality?

    Cheers, Thomas (K15t)

    Hello Thomas!

Thanks for answering. This is exactly what we wanted. We were using the previous version of  Scroll Word Exporter so this feature did not exist. It works nicely after the update. We will let you know if there is any issue. Thanks.

    Cheers,

    Sean
