Saving Versions of Confuence Pages
Hello,
I'm look for a solution to allow users to:
- Save the current version of a particular Confluence page when specifically desired - i.e. be able to select a drop-down that will let them save/archive the page. The built-in solution saves a version on every edit - I'm looking for the ability to essentially archive a snapshot at a moment in time. Think Compliance: take a page snapshot at end-of-month, etc.
- Get back to (for review, not to restore) a previous version when needed.
It's important that this is page-specific. Currently we export such pages to PDF however it's difficult to go back and review previous versions.
Does Comala Workflows for Scroll Versions support this capability?
Thank you.

Hi Brian.
Scroll Versions help with a bit different use-case compared to yours. Versions are created for the whole space and don't increment automatically with each page edit.
Scroll Versions support Comala Workflows, and you can archive a particular space version by publishing it to new space, but Scroll Documents might be a better fit for your needs. With Documents you can create a snapshot of the content at any time to freeze it. You can then go back, review and compare the saved version with the current state.
If you have further questions, please let me know.
Roman.
