    Hi Michael,

Thanks for reaching out. Had you embedded the form PDF files on your Confluence page(s)? If so, if you are using a version of our app since Scroll PDF Exporter v4.7, you'll have the option to included embedded attachments in the export.

This means that the attachments will still be displayed as a link in the export, but when double clicked in a standalone PDF reader, like Adobe, it will show the content. You can find this export option within the file options:

Does this help? At the moment, we don't include another way of showing the pdf-attachments inside the documentation.

Let me know what you think.

    Thanks, Thomas (K15t)

    Hi,

is there an updated if it's possible to print out the attachments within the pdf?

When the attachments are embedded in the pdf and displayed as a link, is it possible to open them as an external person which has no access to Confluence? Or are the attachments then opened in Confluence?

    Thank you in advance.

    Best regards,

    Amelie

Hi Amelie, if you are using the mentioned Embed referenced attachments export option it will mean that when the PDF is generated you/your users will be able to open the attachment directly from the export without the need for access to Confluence. The embedded attachment will be displayed as a link in the PDF and this would need to be opened via a standalone PDF reader (eg. Adobe) rather than a browser reader. You can read more about this behaviour here.  Thanks, Thomas (K15t)
