Easy way to see and add Template ID
Applies to Word and PDF exporters. The macro has a field for inserting a template ID, but getting the ID of a template is inconvenient and requires space admin privileges (I think). A couple of ways to improve this would be:
- Add a Copy-Template-ID function to the space admin template list (without having to open the menu). You could show the ID or an icon as an additional column in the list, and copy the ID to clipboard when clicked. (minor improvement)
- Search for templates by name when typed into the macro field. (moderate improvement)
- Point #2 plus drop-down menu of available templates within the macro. (major improvement)

Hi Ryan, thanks for the post.
I agree that locating the template ID when using the Scroll Export Button macro, which uses this parameter, could be improved. We have an open improvement for this behaviour that you can track here: https://k15t.jira.com/browse/EXP-2110
Our developers still need to refine this, particularly in regards to how this information is displayed, as like you mentioned, only space/global admins have access to these details. Therefore, there would need to be considerations in regards to how these restrictions are handled. It is likely that your moderate improvement suggestion would be a good approach, whereby users can easily search for the template name and add it to the macro this way.
