How to change formatting of bullet list marker

I am trying to change the color of the square marker for bullet lists in PDF export. How can it be accomplished?

  Hi,

  bullet markers change color with the font of the text:
  

   

  Does this help, or would you like to change markers’ color without the need to change the text color?
