Conditional Content info showing in all published variants

The Conditional Content setting in the Scroll Versions Master Space (internal) has all of a sudden become linked to the Published Space (external). So now the customer sees the Conditional Content information (gray box + pop-up) on each page, for example..

 

How do we stop this, i.e. go back to the way it used to work? We haven’t changed anything.

  Hi Gordon, thanks for reaching out.

  1. have you upgraded Versions or Confluence lately?
  2. are you publishing to another space in the same instance, or to external with Remote Publishing?
  3. if you look at the page history of this page is the external space, do you see a recent change to the content? If yes, what were the changes?

  1. I have upgraded Versions recently. Upgrading Confluence is the next step to hopefully fix this!
  
  2. I am publishing externally using Scroll Add-ons > Versions > Publish.

  3. No changes.

  to investigate further, please create a new support ticket and send this information:

  • screenshot of Scroll Add-ons → Roles,
  • screenshot of Space Permissions,
  • the name of the group in which external users are created.
