    Hi Alessandro,

    Thanks for your post.

You didn't make any mistakes, unfortunately, the issue you are experiencing is caused by a bug that our developers recently identified. The bug itself also prevents other images such as those attached via the Confluence Gallery macro from being rendered correctly.

We are already working on implementing a resolution for this in our current sprint and it is likely it'll be shipped with the next release. You can track the issue here: https://k15t.jira.com/browse/EXP-2653

In the meantime, it is possible to revert back to a previous version of Scroll PDF Exporter, v4.5.3, where this issue does not occur. You can access the previous versions here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/7019/scroll-pdf-exporter-for-confluence/version-history.

However, should you wish to wait for the new release, you can keep up-to-date and receive immediate notifications for any Scroll PDF Exporter app releases via the Atlassian Marketplace app listing page – simply scroll down and select Watch app under the Resources section.

    I hope this information helps.

    Cheers, Thomas (K15t)

    Hi Thomas,

It works as expected in release 4.6, but I was wondering if it is possible to add an image placeholder since the logo dimension is too small to display it a bit bigger in the manual frontpage.

A part from creating several template, do you think that it could be considered as a feature request for the future?

Having several templates which differ for one single item is always a bad thing.

    Best wishes.

    Hi Alessandro,

    Thanks for your reply.

Does the option of increasing the size of the Space logo via the placeholder not meet your requirements? Did you require finer control for the logo size when including it in your manual front page? Or was it due to the loss in resolution and image quality?

How were you expecting the image placeholder to function?

In terms of the functionality that is already available when adding an image to your specific sections in the Document Sections, what were you needing the placeholder to do differently?

If you could provide some additional information we can then further look into this requirement.

    Cheers, Thomas (K15t)

I'm sorry, I've chosen the wrong words.

As you have already guessed I'm referring to the loss in resolution of the logo image which is something like no more that 200x200 px, or so.

Therefore, since I believe that it is a Confluence limit not including svg image as logos, it would be interest to be able to refer to other high resolution images.

In my specific case, I would like to rely on variant names or at list on a "url placeholder" that I can set it through the variant name. In such a way I could host on my site the images, each named with the proper variant name/description field.

    What do you think about?

    Best wishes,
    Alessandro

    Hi Alessandro,

Thanks for your reply. At the moment, we don't have any immediate plans to implement a new placeholder that can reference images via a URL into the template editor. However, one way to achieve a better resolution of image would be to use the Page Property placeholder – would this be an option?

With this placeholder you can refer to an image uploaded to the Page Property macro on your Confluence page (which can be shown or hidden) and this can then be included in the export. You can add SVG image types to the related value table cell via the ! (keyboard shortcut) which will be rendered in the export.

Let me know if this helps. Thanks, Thomas (k15t)
