Insert markup with "Confluence wiki" not possible in the translated language...?
Good morning,
I am using the Confluence macro "Insert markup" to insert some Wiki-formatted text (e.g. from Jira issues) into Confluence pages.
This works fine for my my main language "German". The preview part does display the correctly formatted text.
After clicking the button "Insert" in the dialog, the text is inserted as displayed in the preview.
But when I do the same stuff for the same article but in the translated language "English", the preview part is left empty. After clicking the button "Insert", no text is inserted at all.
Do you have any idea what is wrong?
I am using Scroll Versions, Scroll Translations and Scroll Viewport.
Cheers,
Eva

Hi Eva,
We have already identified the behaviour and created this JIRA issue: https://k15t.jira.com/browse/VSN-2983. Please sign up at https://k15t.jira.com/secure/Signup!default.jspa to watch, comment on or vote for this issue. We'll then send a notification for every status update.
Most likely, it is related to the way Scroll Translations plugin is implemented. Currently, I haven't found any workaround.Roman.

Hi Roman,
thanks for the link to the issue. I did vote and add myself as a watcher.
Well, kind of an obvious workaround is to copy the "ready formatted" text and paste the text into the Confluence article without the macro. This works for some of the formatting stuff that we are using, such as Bold and Italics. Unfortunately it does not work for colored text or source code.
Cheers,
Eva
