Can I use the "chapter" header number in a figure/table number?
I'm doing due diligence in trying to emulate our corporate PDF template from Confluence. We number figures and tables with chapter number - item number (Fig. 2-1, 2-2 ...) and restart the item number sequence for each chapter. I am converting documents to topics with the heading hierarchy determined by the parent/child relationships. Does anyone have any ideas how to make the Scroll PDF exporter handle numbering like this?

Hi Catherine,
Thanks for your post.
At the moment it is not possible to include ''Chapter number - Item number'' as a numbering pattern for figure/image captions within the template.
Was this the only formatting requirement you had that was preventing you from emulating your corporate PDF template? Or were there other things that were also preventing you from having the exact formatting?
With this functionality were you expecting that every parent page within the export would trigger a new chapter numbering and for the item number to reset for figures/images when the new chapter starts?

Thanks Thomas, I would have been surprised if the answer had been 'Yes'. If it had worked, every top level parent would trigger a new chapter number (this already happens if I have numbered headers on) and yes, the item number would reset with each chapter. Thanks for your response!

Hi Alessandro,
Thanks for your post.
At the moment, we have no immediate plans to introduce chapter labelling options for the captions created by the Scroll Title macro. However, this is something that we have an open feature request in our JIRA system which you can track here: https://k15t.jira.com/browse/EXP-1006.
The feature itself requires further refinement from our developers in order to ascertain how best to implement this functionality. Once this information is available, we will be able to plan it into one of our development sprints. Please watch the issue to keep up-to-date on its progress and to receive notification when there are status changes.
Cheers, Thomas (K15t Software)
