    Hi Henricus,

    Thanks for your post.

Do you have a visual example of what you are wanting to achieve and the current export behaviour that you're experiencing?

This will give us a better understanding of your specific requirements and will allow us to investigate if there is a workaround – you can send this information to us directly via support@k15t.com.

We can then continue the discussion in the created support case ticket.

    Cheers, Thomas (K15t Software)

I have exactly the same problem (our publication template calls for a red bar the width of the paper and flush with the bottom/top as a background to the header and footer text) and tried the same work around as Henricus with the same lack of success. This one issue might be enough to block us from using Confluence as a platform for our software documentation.

    Hi Catherine,

Thanks for reaching out. Can you please also send your current publication template to support@k15t.com, so we can have a closer look and maybe can come up with a workaround?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Catherine,

As mentioned in your support ticket, at the moment it is not possible to define independent margins for the header/footer and the Contents section in the Document Sections. This means that you can only apply a background style which spans the width of the margins defined for the Content section.

We have an open improvement for this feature request which you can track here: https://k15t.jira.com/browse/EXP-2457

In the meantime, one workaround would be to use a background image in your template to create the same footer border effect (which spans the whole page). You can add this via the Document Sections in the template editor.

    I hope this information helps.

    Cheers, Thomas (K15t Software)
