Hi - we are a technical documentation team. We have a situation where we have about ten master spaces which publish to corresponding target spaces. All these target spaces thus have links pointing to each other.
Every time we version up with a new software release, new target spaces need to be created so all those links have to be updated to point to the new target spaces. It's too much to do manually.
The strategy we have arrived at is to use an inclusions library with each link being a page in the library. We use Excerpt+ to call these links. We version the pages (links) in the inclusions library with each new release and by using Excerpt+ in the content we don't need to update all links manually.
Is this strategy sound? Does anyone else have a different/more efficient approach?
