Email information as link instead Confluence user profile link
Hi,
Is it possible to configure the export to have the user's email information exported as link instead of the user profile Confluence link while generating an export.
This feature is pretty useful when it comes to sharing documents with partners or providers that dont have access to our Confluence instance.
Best regards,
Florian Maupas

Hi Florian,
Thanks for reaching out.
Could you please further elaborate a bit on how you were inserting the user's email information? I just inserted a user profile macro to a page and exported this - the email link is a proper "mailto:" link.
Would using the user profile macro be an option for you, or how have you inserted the user's mail information?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Cheers,

Hi Nils,
Sorry for not being clear. I was referring to the mention macro (@SomeName) that we internally used everywhere when it comes to meeting notes, product owner, main point of contact, ect ...
Those mention macro are exported with a link such as : https://{my.company.domain}/confluence/display/~{myUserProfileUsername}.
Is there a way to have the email on the extract instead of the profile on Confluence ? Indeed, partners or customers dont have access to our internal instance.
Thanks for your prompt response,
Best regards,
Florian,

Hi Florian,
Thanks for the further clarification. That is indeed a use case that could be improved.
I've therefore created the following feature request in our Jira system: https://k15t.jira.com/browse/EXP-2493
I'll check with the team about the technical feasibility, and if this is something we can improve in an upcoming version.
We're currently working on bigger changes in the architecture of Scroll Office, which we'd need to finish before being able to work on this, so please sign up at https://k15t.jira.com/secure/Signup!default.jspa to watch, comment on or vote for this issue. We'll then send a notification for every status update.
Best,
Nils
