    Hi Kate,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Were you applying your customization of bullet lists and quotes in your specific space via Space tools > Look and Feel > Stylesheet?

If so, this will only apply the styles for these elements for the online page view in Confluence and the resulting export will not use this styling (the defined template settings will be applied).

In our version 4 customizable templates, there is not currently an option to add CSS in this way. However, I can understand your point in relation to having more control over the list styling, beyond the unordered lists which Confluence provides.

From your screenshot, it shows you are wanting different coloured unordered lists icons and to also style the quote separator – were these your only styling requirements, or were there other elements you also needed to change?

    Cheers, Thomas (K15t Software)

    Hi Thomas,

I need to style only mentioned elements:

    • the hollow square in red (#b90000) and black for unordered lists
    • the quote separator in red (#b90000)

We don't have such style in Confluence yet, because I wanted to know if it make sense to apply it. But some other our customization for Confluence were added via Space tools > Look and Feel > Stylesheet.

    Thanks,
    Kate

    Hi Kate,

    Thanks for your reply.

I agree that having the option to colour the elements of the Quote separator and also the specific list styles, would be useful.

At the moment, it is not possible to include the additional icon (e.g. hollow square) for unordered list styles in the template editor as the library we use to generate the PDF exports only currently supports a limited number of icons.

However, in relation to the other issues I have created some feature requests in our JIRA system which you can view below:

Please sign up to our JIRA (via k15.jira.com) in order to watch, comment and/or vote on this issue. We'll then send a notification for every status update.
