    Hi Mark,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    By the sounds of it, you have configured a Scroll Export button on your Confluence page – is this correct?

    If so, within the definable options for this export button, you can select the option Quick Start which will bypass the 'Exporting PDF' dialogue box (which allows the selection of a template and export scope). Is this what you required?

    With the Quick Start option enabled, the export will function immediately once selected (see screenshot).

    I hope this information helps.

    Thanks, Thomas (K15t Software)

    Thanks Thomas,

    We have setup the quick start already. The button works very well and essentially we want to force the user to use the button.

    We would like to remove the option in the drop down menu. If the user selects it from here then they are free to pick any template available in the space.

    I realised in general I wanted to remove the whole menu from non logged in users. I was able to do this through Custom HTML.

    <script type="text/javascript">
    AJS.toInit(function(){
    if (AJS.params.remoteUser == ''){
    AJS.$('#action-menu-link').hide();
    }
    });
    </script>

    Thanks

    Mark

    Hi Mark,

    Thanks for your reply.

    If you are wanting to hide the Scroll PDF Export option in your space (from the drop-down menu), this is also possible via adding the following code to your space Stylesheet:

           a#k15t-exp-pdf-export-dialog-web-item {
    display:none;
    }

    To access the stylesheet in your space, simply select: Space tools > Look and Feel > Stylesheet. Once added, the option to export via Scroll PDF Exporter will be removed but you can still use the Scroll Export Button you have implemented.

    Does this help?

    Cheers, Thomas (K15t Software)

    Thanks Thomas,

    That would definitely have helped. As mentioned above we ended up removing access to the whole menu but I will definitely keep the solution in mind for other spaces where we may need to restrict exporting.

    Cheers

    Mark
