How to set default Epic link

Hi Team,

 

Currently we are evaluating the backbone sync plugin and facing some issue.

we have two JIRA instances. In one instance lets say instance 'A' we have epic link as mandatory. but in other instance(lets say instance 'B') this is optional.

While setting the default field on instance 'A', I am not able to have epic link field in the list. Is there anything we are doing wrong. or this field is not supported at all.

  Hi Moiz,

  Thanks for your question. Backbone currently doesn't support setting a default field value for the Epic Link field. However, Backbone does support synchronizing the Epic Link field between projects if the epics are in the same project as the issues. Would this be useful for your use case?
