    Hi Henry,

    Thanks for your post.

Are you able to provide an example of how you are currently hardcoding the link? Were you simply linking the text with a specific number on your page?

    Cheers, Thomas (K15t Software)

    Hi Thomas

    example:
Here you can see the link to other pages. The number is equal to the TOC number of the page.

    Hi Henry,

    Thanks for your response.

From your example, I can see that you have set links to your chosen pages and hardcoded the numbers. Unfortunately, we do not offer a specific option that would allow you to dynamically link the heading numbering with the page link.

Have you searched to see if there is an Atlassian Marketplace app that may be able to handle this formatting requirement on your Confluence page?

    Cheers, Thomas (K15t Software)

Hello Thomas, yes we hardcoded the numbers, because there is no other possability at this Moment.

During the generating of a PDF Export, the TOC will be generated, including the numbering. SO every Chapter and Subchapter becomes a number.

Therefore it would be fine, to have a Macro

Like: TOC Number (Link to Heading).

Expected.. On the Website, i will only see the link (thats ok), but when i Export a PDF, the TOC Number will be set in the front of the Link

    Why do i want it:

    a) it is Standard in the most documentation Software. you pronounced your Company, as a specialist for this way of working.
unfortunately, a lot of Standards are not availaible. To move technical writers to use your Software, he expects a minimun on equal Tools.

    b) only for a online Version, it is ok to see only the link. But someone who has to read the hardcopied Manual, wants to see the chapte number additional, because than it is easier to find the Page ( in best case with Page Number - will alse be generated during the process of TOC generating)

    c) for machines etc, products with a CE sign, it is required, to give a physical Manual an the buyers/owners language.

    Hi Henry,

coming back to our discussion yesterday at the K15t Solution Forum regarding this topic: With https://k15t.jira.com/browse/EXP-1995 and https://k15t.jira.com/browse/EXP-2172 respectively, we'll add the possibility to allow further styling (and numbering) of captions created with the scroll title macro. In the initial version the captions will be numbered consecutively throughout the document (i.e. no reset in a new chapter).

Additionally we'll work on adding an option to also have a table of figures based on the elements wrapped within the scroll title macro (this will work similar to the TOC).

All those improvements are already estimated and we'll try to focus on them in an upcoming version. As soon as there are any news, we'll update the issues accordingly.

    Best,
    Nils
