Continue Numbering in Conditional Content
Is there a way to continue numbering within conditional content? For instance, we are using conditional content within our technical documentation to publish separate variants of our documentation for various regions. In this case, we have a 9-step procedure that will go into both our U.S. and Canada variants. The first 6 steps apply to both the U.S. and Canada variants. Steps 7-9 apply to U.S. only. Rather than have two copies of the (mostly) same procedure, we want to keep steps 1-6 unconditioned and have steps 7-9 in a conditional content macro for the U.S. variant. Unfortunately, it appears that the macro causes the numbering to restart. Is there any way to continue numbering within a macro?

Hi Anna,
The numbering in Confluence resets in any macro, not just Conditional Content one. I suspect it is just the way Confluence treats ordered list. it gets restarted in macros or if it is being "interrupted" by just some text.
As a workaround, you could replace the ordered list inserted by Confluence with a simple text that would start with "7. This is for US/Canada". For this you have to edit the page's source using Source Editor: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.confluence.plugins.editor.confluence-source-editor.
Cheers,
Roman.
