Problem with long pagetitles

Hi,

so we had this user create a page with a title of 254 characters ...

... then we activated Scroll Versions on the space. Now the problem is, adding a Version 2 of the page is not possible as the page title length gets pushed beyond 255 characters. Changing the original page title (current version) does not help as the page title seems to be cached internally. How can we resolve this?

  Hi Stefan,

  wow, that's a descriptive page title ;-)

  Are you using the permalink (duplicate page title) functionality? Changing the permalink of the versioned page should do the trick.
