Adding links in Scroll version spaces
We've been using the Scroll versions plugin for a while and are generally very happy with it, but the usability of the linking functions is not good.
One of the features in Confluence that we use a lot is the automatic list of suggested page names when you started defining a link (that is, when you click "[" and start typing). However, many of the suggestions tend to be "dot pages" that should not be linked to. This means that members of the team often accidentally define links to the wrong page, which is then only spotted when we are about the publish an update to the documentation (not a good time to have to go and chase down incorrect links). It would be an enormous improvement if the "dot pages" could be filtered out of the suggestions displayed by Confluence when you start to define a link. It would also be very helpful if the Link dialog had a search function which allowed you to search only the master pages and excluded the dot pages from the results. Using the page tree to define links relies on people knowing exactly where to find the topic they need, which is often not the case in larger spaces.

Hi Felicity, hi Eva,
thanks for the feedback, I totally understand your requirements here and created an improvement in our JIRA system: https://k15t.jira.com/browse/VSN-1946
Please sign up at https://k15t.jira.com/secure/Signup!default.jspa to watch, comment on or vote for this issue. The more votes an issue receives, the more likely it is that we’ll implement it in one of the next releases. In the meantime the only workaround is to use the browse page tree functionality (with the mentioned limitations and problems).
I'll talk about the improvement with our developers when planning the next releases. If you'll vote the issue you'll get a notification as soon as anything on the status of the ticket changes.
Cheers,
Nils
