Placeholders in User Macros
Hello,
is it possible to access placeholders like $scrollVersions.Version.Name in User Macros? If I just insert it the same way as in static pages, it won't be replaced but simply printed as text. Would be good to know if it is possible at all to use these placeholders in macros?
Thanks in advance
Dorothea

Hi Dorothea,
unfortunately Scroll placeholders can't be used within user macros, as these placeholders are rendered during exports, whereas user macros are rendered within Confluence.
Maybe the following page and its children help you to create your user macro: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Writing+User+Macros
I hope that information helps. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask, we'll be happy to help.
Cheers,
Nils
