Disable the numbering of some H1 headings

I am wondering if it is possible to disable the numbering of some H1 headings instead of all of them?

For example, I have some pages with the title "Appendix 1: XXX", it looks awkward to display "4 Appendix 1: XXX" in the exported PDF. 

Is there a way to disable the numbering for all the Appendix pages in the content formatting area of my template?

  Hi Roy,

  it's not possible to control the numbering of certain headings of the same heading level - what you could try would be to use different heading levels and de-activate the numbering of those headings.
