Showing H1 text in footer
Hi,
Instead of displaying the title of the page where I start the export in the footer of every PDF page using $page.title placeholder, I want to display the H1 "Chapter" titles in the footer of every page. For example. say I have the following page structure:
[Root page where I export from]
- Chapter 1
- - Child 1.1
- - Child 1.2
- Chapter 2
- - Child 2.1
- - Child 2.2
I want to display Chapter 1 page title in the footer of Chapter 1, Child 1.1, and Child 1.2 pages; display Chapter 2 page title in the footer of Chapter 2, Child 2.1, and Child 2.2 pages.
Is it possible to achieve this in my template?
Thank you,
Roy

Hi Nils,
I found the following page on the Internet: https://www.smashingmagazine.com/2015/01/designing-for-print-with-css/#setting-strings
It seems like a perfect solution to this issue, but I cannot make it work. Could you have a look and tell me if it can work with Scroll PDF Exporter plugin?
Thank you,
Roy
