I try to export a set of pages with some subpages and would like to have all my pages from the top-level as TOC 1 and all pages below on the corresponding levels below.
Let's assume my page structure is the following (including the headings written in brackets):
- Page 1 (h.1 This is page 1)
- Page 2
- Page 2.1 (h.2 This is page 2.1)
- Page 2.2 (h.2 This is page 2.2)
- Page 3 (h.1 This is page 3)
I am also combining page-titels and headings in my export settings. For pages 1 and 3 everything works fine and "1. This is page 1" and "3. This is page 3" are being exportet as headings from level 1. For pages 2.1 and 2.2 also everyting works fine, but for page 2 it writes "2. Page 2" - as there is no heading defined.
If I now add a heading "h.1 This is page 2" to page 2, the followig happens when I start the export: I get a heading "2. Page 2" and "2.1 This is page 2", although it is defined as h1. And for all the subpages I get headings from the same level like "2.2 This is page 2.1".
Is there a way to have the page titels also ignored for pages, that contain sub-pages? And if so, how can I then assure that subpages' headings are a level below the top page's level?
Help is appreciated :-)
