    Hi Cheryl,

No, I am afraid. The reason is, that translation is done on the client side, while Scroll is exporting the content on the server side.

I heard at Summit that AppFusions (http://appfusions.com) has a plugin that might help. Don't have a direct link right now, but will cc them here.

    Hi Cheryl

Stefan and I spoke of a new plugin that AppFusions has in prototype, called Lingotek Enterprise Translation.

We will be releasing later this summer, but can demo already the minimal per page use case you are suggesting.

The purpose is for publishing one page or a space (product documentation) to one or many languages using Enterprise (and trainable) machine translators - which are usually a higher translation grade than the Internet-based Google or Bing Translators.

Based on feedback from our SpeakMyLanguage Translation OnDemand plugin (https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugins/com.appfusions.confluence.plugins.speak-my-language), Enterprise customers did not like the fact that their documents were going out to the Internet and the insecurity of that. However, for quick on-the-fly translations, it serves a need.

If your translations are for a public facing portal, the security is less a concern. But the publishing workflow requirement is still the same. The translation needs to be persistent, not just dynamic.

If you are interested, we can demo for you.

    Best,

    Ellen Feaheny

Has this issue been resolved with Scroll PDF and Scroll Translations? We have both, and are not able to export a translated PDF using the default PDF template.

    Thanks.

    Hi Gina,

our Scroll PDF Exporter in combination with Scroll Translations can be used to export translated content to PDF.

To further analyze the problem you're having, it would be great if you could send us a Confluence Support ZIP to support@k15t.com
That will automatically create a private support request and we'll be able to have a closer look.

To create a support ZIP in Confluence, please follow these instructions: http://www.k15t.com/display/SUPPORT/Creating+a+Support+Zip

    Best,Nils
