Possible to reorder sequence of pages?
Hi Folks!
Is it possible to reorder the sequence that wiki pages will appear in the PDF when you use the Scroll exporter?
For example, if in the wiki the pages are in the following hierarchical order:
A-> B-> C
Could I generate the pdf so that they appear in this order?
A-> C-> B
Also, is it possible to pull in pages from multiple spaces into one PDF?
Thanks in advance! I have poked around for answers to these, but didn't find anything (did I miss it?), or something that shows what features you get with Scroll beyond what comes with the standard pdf export built in to Confluence.

Hi Michael,
this is build out-of-the box into our exporters. However, it is possible to build a so-called custom "page selection strategy" that defines which pages (and in which order) they are exported. We have done that in the past as consulting projects, but we also want to include that into our exporters eventually.
WRT to documentation/product info: Thanks for the hint, we are aware of this. Therefore we've hired a technical writer very recently and we are looking forward to provide that information on our website soon.

Thanks for the response, Stefan!

I'm relieved to hear that you've done that before. To know it is possible (and was practical enough for some customers to finance it) is a relief. It also seems like a tremendous opportunity to take Confluence to the next level as an integrated knowledge management and publishing platform. Would solve some pretty big problems.

Fantastic! Didn't mean to nudge too hard, but congratulations on expanding your team. It's good to see y'all growing and expanding. I'm sure your on-staff tech writer will be a font of feature requests and possibly money-making ideas for enhancements.

Hi Patrick,
unfortunately the feature isn't implemented yet. As it's tracked in our JIRA, I'd kindly ask you to vote and comment the corresponding issue: https://k15t.jira.com/browse/EXP-347
Besides there's a related improvement to be implemented in Scroll Versions: https://k15t.jira.com/browse/VSN-1026
Please sign up at https://k15t.jira.com/secure/Signup!default.jspa to watch, to comment or to vote for this issue. The more votes an issue has, the more likely it is that it will implemented in one of the next releases.
Cheers,
Nils
