How do I add a link to the PDF Exporter pop-up window using a macro?

This should be currently possible only with some JS-coding and a user macro - although it would be a little bit of a hack. Can you explain a little bit of the background of your question?

Update (Sep 05, 2011): I've created an issue to track this request here: http://k15t.jira.com/browse/PDF-233

Hi Stefan -- thanks for the quick response. I'd like to be able to link to the PDF export option from a button in the nav pane or a header/footer pane rather than sending them to the Tools menu to select the option there. We think that a button will be more discoverable, as directing users to PDF creation will play a key role in our design.

    Thanks again!

I just committed a last-minute fix, so that you can "mark" elements with an HTML class. It will be available in Scroll Wiki PDF Export 2.1.1, which is due very soon (probably tomorrow).

In order to use the fix, you have to create a user macro that outputs something like the following HTML code:

    <a class="k15t-pdf-launch-exportui">launch pdf export</a>

Please note that you can also output other HTML code, just make sure to define the class attribute. We have implemented it this way, to make it usable in theme development, too.

(A little bit) more information: http://k15t.jira.com/browse/PDF-233.

Let me know, if you have questions.

Stefan, we really need this feature. Any word on when 2.1.1 will be available?

    Hi Clay,

ouch - i just found out that 2.1.1. has not been release. It got delayed because of Confluence 4 related developments.

I just talked to our devs, that 2.1.1 will actually be 2.2 and will also contain the code for Confluence 4 compatibility. It is currently in testing and I expected it to be released this week.
