    Hi Robert,

there's no way to export those icons - we had a feature request for that (see https://k15t.jira.com/browse/EXP-483), but decided not to work on that feature.

    Hi there,

I would like to check regarding this matter again:

    1. The icons for the formatting macros (such as Note, Warning etc) are not included during the Word export. Such a feature is not going to be realized.
    2. If I want the icons to be included in the Word document anyway, I would need to insert the images in the exported Word file (by using Word features).

    Did I understand you correctly?

    Cheers,
    Eva

    Hi Eva,

    Thanks for your post.

Yes, you understood correctly. It is not possible to include the icons associated with the admonition macros (ie. note macro) without hard-coding this content in the app. As a result we decided not to proceed with this feature because it would not allow users to change the icons in the Word document. This means that you would need to add any images that you want to include afterwards in the generated Word export.

    I hope this information helps.

    Thanks, Thomas (K15t)

    Hi Eva,

I chose this solution: I inserted the respective icon in the text section of the the admonition macro. It does not look too neat in Confluence because you have the built-in icon + the inserted icon but it works for me in the exports.

To be exact, I do not insert the icons but reference them. We have a page for all icons we use and I just reference the needed icon from this library page.

It looks like that in Confluence and the export, respectively.

This is certainly not a high-end solution but maybe it might be feasible for you.

    Regards

    Cordula

    Hello,

    thanks for the tip.
In the meantime we have created a Word macro that inserts all icons in the generated Word file.

    Cheers,
    Eva
