    Hi,

how are your images currently exported? Normally the images should automatically fit to the page width. Which Scroll Office version are you currently using?

It would be great if you'd send us a XML export of an affected page and the template you are using to support@k15t.com. I'll then have a deeper look at it and will come back to you as soon as possible.

To export the content of single Confluence page(s), please follow these instructions: http://www.k15t.com/display/SUPPORT/Creating+a+XML+Export+of+a+Single+Page

    Cheers,
    Nils

    Hi Nils,

I already attached XML export and the template as a part of support request #6855.

    Thanks for looking into it.

    Hi Nils,

we found out, that only *.gif images are exported to fit the page width. Our images are mostly in .png and those are exported small no matter what option I choose in export scheme.

Is there any reason for this?

    Thanks

I understand that images fit the page width... I have a series of documents that include a header and a small amount of text, along with an image. I am struggling to get the image to be both correctly positioned (on the same page as the accompanying text), and of a high enough quality, as images are automatically scaled to the page width. What can I do to address this?

I have a similar problem as well. When I export a Confluence page with an image. The image is too long in height exceeding the borders of the page. I cannot find a way how to influence this behaviour? Any advice?

    Thanks ,Miroslav

    change the size in confluence?

    Hi Miroslav,

Thanks for reaching out. Which version of Scroll Office and Confluence are you using? I tried to reproduce the behavior using Scroll Office 3.5.0 and Confluence 6.2 - the image was shrinked down to fit on a page.

Would it be possible to change the size of the image in the Confluence editor? To further investigate, it would be great if you could send us a XML export of the affected page, along with your MS Word template and further details about which versions you're using to support@k15t.com.

We'll then further investigate and will come back to you.

    Cheers,
    Nils

    Hello,

I have kind of the same problem. I have a confluence page with tables, some tables consist images. When exporting to Word images do not fit the page width, they are exported really small. Is there a way of setting up how they will be exported anywhere in Scroll Office settings?

    Regards,

    Ola

    Hi Ola,

    Thanks for your post.

The behaviour you describe is something that we are aware of and we have created an improvement for this in our JIRA system. You can track this here: https://k15t.jira.com/browse/EXP-540

As you mentioned, this results in images that are included in tables being exported in a smaller size because they are scaled in relation to the fixed width of the table. Our developers will need to refine the issue in order to ascertain the best way to implement the desired export behaviour and to calculate the effort required to implement this functionality. Once we have this information available we will be able to plan the issue into one of our future development sprints.

In the meantime, please sign up to our JIRA (via k15t.jira.com) in order to watch, comment and/or vote on this issue. We'll then send a notification for every status update.

    Cheers, Thomas (K15t Software)
