Scaffolding-based tables are not rendered when exporting a wiki page with Scroll Office
Hi All,
we’ve migrated our Confluence from 3.4.8 to 4.3.3. Unfortunately there’s a problem when we want to export pages that contain “dynamic tables” using the Word exporter from Scroll Office 2.5.17.
Those tables are based on the “table-data” macro from the Scaffolding plugin.
This is exception in the exported word document:
Error rendering macro 'table-data' : No tables found
I*ve attached the log message copied from the Confluence log („[xhtml.view.macro.ViewMacroMarshaller] marshal Exception executing macro: table-data, with message: No tables found.“).
The stack trace at the end probably has nothing to do with the table rendering problem but with a Gliffy diagram contained in the page as well. note that although there is this error message when exporting the page using Scroll Office, the Gliffy diagram is correctly rendered in the exported Word output.
Can anybody help here?
These are the software versions we are using:
- Confluence 4.3.3
- Scroll Office 2.5.17
- Scaffolding 4.5.0
Thank you in advance,
Frank.

Hi Frank and whoever might be interested:
The stack trace is indeed related to Gliffy, and will be fixed in Gliffy 5.0.2 (see: http://jira.gliffy.com/browse/GCONF-803).
Cheers,

Hi Stefan,
thank you very much for your hint. I will try Gliffy 5.0.2 when it will be available.
However, the problem with Gliffy is the minor one, since notwithstanding the error message appearing in the logs when exporting the Wiki page with Scroll, the Gliffy diagram is correctly rendered in the exported Word output.
The actual problem is with the Scaffolding table, which is not rendered when exporting the page with Scroll Office. Instead the Word output contains the message "Error rendering macro 'table-data' : No tables found." This relates to the first part of the log message I attaced to my initial post.
From the logs I'm not sure were this error actually occurs. But the table is rendered correctly on the Wiki page, but not in the exported Word file. So, I assumed that this is a Scroll Office issue.
It would be helpful to know whether you can reproduce this issue and if / when you plan to work on this issue. (I don't seem to be permitted to access the ticket you've created).
Just one more note:
The export of Scaffolding tables worked with Scroll Office 2.5.17 and some beta version of Scaffolding plugin v4.5.0. Unfortunately the beta version of the Scaffolding plugin caused some other problems so that it's not an option to downgrade to this version.
Best regards,
Frank.
