Content reuse between spaces
Hi,
For our documentation, it makes sense to create different spaces to host different documents because of the variants/versions specific to each document. Content is still shared between some of these docs, and it would make a lot of sense to have a single space to reference this content from. I see that when inserting a link using the Confluence macro it can search through the entire Confluence database for whatever page name you are searching for. Something similar to that would be very helpful.
I saw a ticket logged which I believe might address this issue: https://k15t.jira.com/browse/VSN-766.
However, I also saw that this ticket was logged back in 2013. Is there any updated timeline on when it might be possible for the Include+ macro to include pages from a different space? It would be so useful to have it, especially if it can include different variants of pages as well.
Kind regards,
Nicholas

Hi Nicholas,
We are currently working on the next feature release for Scroll Versions, which is focused on content re-use. This feature you linked will be part of that release. Unfortunately, I don't have an ETA, but if you watch the JIRA issue you will receive a notification when there are updates we are ready to share. Sign up for an account in our JIRA to watch and vote for this issue.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Cheers,
Roman.
