Scroll Versions and Scroll Office - Exclude draft pages from Word export
Hello Team,
we use Scroll Versions and Scroll Office, and a custom template for Word export of our documentation. I just tested it and realized that apparently 'draft' and/or unpublished 'review' pages also are included in the export which we do not want to happen.
Would you help with this? Thanks!

Hi Nina,
Thanks for getting in touch.
This improvement is already tracked in our JIRA system: https://k15t.jira.com/browse/EXP-1078Please sign up at https://k15t.jira.com/secure/Signup!default.jspa to watch, comment on or vote for this issue. We'll then send a notification for every status update.
As a workaround, you could publish all pages in status complete to a new space and export the content from this space.
Would that be a way to go for you?Best,
Nils -
Hi Nina,
Besides that there's no other workaround I can think of right now.
The space you'd create when publishing to a new space can be deleted after you performed the export - if that would help? So it's just a temporary container of the pages to be exported so to say..
Cheers,
Nils -
Hello Nils,
as you can imagine, we don't publish Word versions of our documentation every other year... So an easy and hassle free solution would be crucial, actually.
It's very unfortunate that there are so many incompatibilities of Scroll Versions with other Scroll plugins... (several with Viewport, etc...)

Hi Nina,
Thanks for your open feedback.
I'll check internally how to proceed with https://k15t.jira.com/browse/EXP-1078 and will give you an update in this thread as soon as I have any more details.
Cheers,

Hello Team,
as I just came across this ticket again, I think I've found a solution to this issue:
- In your space call the parent page of the ones you want to export. (If you hadn't before, log into Confluence.)
- In the Scroll Versions 'hamburger menu', select 'Switch to Public View'. (The orange bar at the top of the page appears.)
- In the 'three dots' menu, select the 'Export to Word' item.
- Export via template or similar means you usually employ.
This has worked on our instance, I believe because in 'Public View' only those pages also displayed online will be visible/used.
