    Hi Primoz,

Thanks for reaching out. This is a known issue already tracked in our JIRA System: https://k15t.jira.com/browse/EXP-476

When designing the exporters 7 years ago, we followed a 'single-source publishing approach', which allowed us to export to different kinds of target formats. In this approach, the described behavior was intended (and required).

However, we already started to decouple our exporters to be able to support features like this, and many many others, differently for each exporter.
Currently, we are working on the Scroll PDF Exporter – and based on a new architecture and library, we already solved this issue and others for our first Cloud version.

Right now we are migrating all changes back to server, to have the same functionality in the server variant of Scroll PDF Exporter. As this is a major change, this migration will take a while (our current estimation is Q3, maybe a bit earlier, but no specific ETAs yet). Indentations set in Confluence will then be preserved in the exported PDF files.
Afterwards, we will start to evaluate how (and if) this can be solved for other exporters, like Scroll Office and Scroll HTML Exporter.

I hope this information helps, and clarifies the current state and behavior. Please sign up at https://k15t.jira.com/secure/Signup!default.jspa to watch, comment on or vote for this issue. We'll then send a notification for every status update.
