Scroll Viewport and Scroll Versions - Public View Behavior?
Hello There,
another question turned up today: We use Scroll Viewport and Scroll Versions.
Apparently this seems the default behavior, if the setting Scroll Platform Integration is checked/unchecked:
- With this setting de-activated, whenever the Scroll Viewport is being used on a Draft page, one still will get the published view of that page.
When you change to the Confluence editor again, there too the Public View will be active. - With this setting activated, the preview of Draft pages using the Scroll Viewport works - but also the Draft will be visible online.
We would prefer though that the Scroll Viewport behaves ' in parallel' to the Scroll Versions display: Public equals public view and vice versa, whichever plugin you use.
Is there a setting we missed - or should we open a feature request?
Thanks!
Kind Regards
Nina

Hi Nina,
Thanks for reaching out - I assume with Draft you're referring to the Scroll Versions Workflow state?
Unfortunately the workflow state is currently not taken into consideration by Scroll Viewport - all pages are displayed in a public version, disregarding the page workflow state.
We have an open improvement request in our JIRA System: https://k15t.jira.com/browse/VPRT-971Currently there's no workaround, please sign up at https://k15t.jira.com/secure/Signup!default.jspa to watch, comment on or vote for this issue. We'll then send a notification for every status update.
Best,
Nils
